Development started January of 2022. My first time working with the creation kit.
Goal was to recreate the world of Mount & Blade: Warband inside of Skyrim's engine. A bit over ambitious for my first project but I worked on it on & off for roughly 10 months, then I started work on the Hearthstone Isles project.
By then I had created a rough draft of the terrain and was starting the first exterior Level Design pass on the worldspace. I was mostly making it up as I went along, and referencing the terrain and locations from the original Warband map.
The end result for now is a world map with the incorrect scale and a couple of detailed areas, mixed with very low detail areas, mixed with default texture plains. I don't plan to continue development on it until I can figure out a way to import a heightmap of Calradia into the Creation Kit for Skyrim, and if I do I will restart development anyway.
I created the landscape. All custom assets were from users on the Nexus Mods page who gave their permission to use their assets. Distant LOD generated by me using DynoDoLod & SSELodGen.
